Institute for Radiology and Neuroradiology

The Institute for Radiology and Neuroradiology provides its patients quick and accurate diagnoses and minimally invasive therapy with state-of-the-art technology.

With both a 128-slice and a 16-slice CT scanner, a magnetic resonance tomograph with a magnetic field strength of 3 Tesla, an open MRI at 1.0 Tesla and a biplane 3D rotational angiography system, the Institute provides the most cutting-edge diagnoses and therapies available today.

We specialise in diagnosing injuries to the entire body after accidents, as well as other acute and chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, central nervous system, vascular system, abdomen and chest.

In the neurovascular centre, neuroradiologists along with neurosurgeons and neurologists treat cerebrovascular diseases. In cases of acute strokes, blood clots can be dissolved.

A wide teleradiology network connects many hospitals in various federal states with the institute.
