The Urology Department at the ukb concentrates on examining and treating urinary system organs such as the kidneys, ureter, bladder, prostate and outer genitalia.

Treatment includes such illnesses as kidney stones, urinary incontinence, inflammation and tumours including as well as the various prostate diseases. The clinic is renowned for its work in neuro-urology which provides diagnostics and therapy for nerve related voiding dysfunctions, erectile and fertility dysfunctions.

The clinic has led a certified prostate centre since 2007 dedicated to diagnosing and treating prostate diseases. Benign prostate enlargements can be dealt with surgically or with laser procedures (holmium laser). New methods in 3D laparoscopic prostectomy or brachytherapy radiation is used for malignant diseases. Apart from endoscopic processes, the clinic also provides innovative laparoscopies.
