Centre for Emergency Training

Centre for Emergency Training

The Centre for Emergency Training at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin was founded to provide courses in emergency training. The courses range from providing continuous training to doctors to teaching volunteers.

Our various courses focus on medical simulations. Emergency scenarios are enacted to give the team the opportunity to practice on patient simulators. At the end, an experienced simulations instructor gives feedback and analysis by video. He not only discusses the medical competence demonstrated, he also discusses the interpersonal aspects of such teamwork and communication. Simulation training significantly contributes to improving patient safety.
