Quality Medicine Initiative

QMI is the first cross-discipline initiative for quality control in Germany. All QMI clinics share a common goal: to continuously improve and ensure the quality of medicine.

The members of QMI set high standards for the transparency and informative value of their quality management. They do only meet the minimum standards required by law; in the interest of providing the best medical care, they go the extra mile ensuring patient safety. This includes regularly publishing information on the quality of medical treatment in the clinics concerned. We also take part in both internal and external peer reviews, the objective results of which are made public and strictly secure against any kind of manipulation.

Quality Management
The goal of the ukb’s diverse quality development and quality assurance measures consists of continuously ensure our improvement process. Employees from all professional groups and hierarchical levels get actively involved in quality projects, for example, to process optimization, risk management or the assessment of patient satisfaction. Many of our centres have been certified by various government or certifying bodies or registered in various associations.
