The ukb Cinic for Ears, Nose and Throat offers all diagnostic and therapeutics ENT methods for both in-patients and out-patients. Thanks to the latest discoveries in biomedical research, the Centre for Clinical Technology Research fulfills the conditions necessary for a quick and smooth rehabilitation for patients with disabilities.
Special Diagnostics
- Hearing diagnostics for hardness of hearing, deafness and ear noises (tinnitus, etc.)
- Balance diagnostics for dizziness:
- vestibulospinal tests, i.e. examinations of body coordination, e.g. Romberg and Unterberger tests, innovative test methods include dynamic postugraphy and the SwayStar Measurement
- labyrinthine tests (examination of the semicircular canals, the otolith organs or endolymphatic sacs, e.g. with caloric tests, VEMP measurements, electrocochleography)
- Central tests (examination of the central portion of balance, e.g., rotation and view follow-up tests)
